escort & place : cards for the water mill wedding

Here are a couple more shots of calligraphy I did for the wedding in Water Mill, New York last weekend. Yesterday’s feature was on the illustrated table signs for the rehearsal dinner. These are images of the escort cards and place cards. You may recognize the letterpressed escort cards for their signature Mr. Boddington’s Studio style (much love to Mr. B.)

For anyone who doesn’t live in the wedding world, escort cards are used to inform guests of their table assignments and are often found on a table near the entrance of the reception – whereas place cards are positioned at each seat.
