Emily Fischer is a Brooklyn-based architect and designer and founder of Haptic Lab. Through Haptic Lab, Emily created Soft-Maps, these appealing map quilt blankets.

You can order machine stitched blankets of various Brooklyn neighborhoods or you can order a custom, hand-sewn map of any special location. They are all made from 100% cotton.

As you know, I think quilts and blankets make for a perfect wedding gift — and the idea of it representing an important place or a map that notes the location of their favorite spots in town makes it so much more personal to the couple.
