When I’m patient enough, it’s so worth holding off on posting about wedding calligraphy until the professionals have photographed it.

This is very much the case with the invitation above that I designed for a September wedding of New Yorkers, Emily and Jeremy. I recently received theses images taken by the very talented Tory Williams and was thrilled to see how beautiful it looks set amidst the table decorations on the big day. I designed this invitation with a combination of calligraphy plus a digital typeface, printed with thermography on a remarkably heavy stock.

    Way to go on being patient…though I think your pictures are pretty good as well. (Maybe just put some flowers behind your next project and see how it come out! :)
